The Inns & Outs
of Borrowing from
CME Resource Library
A special privilege of membership in the Academy is the benefit of receiving CME credits by borrowing audio, video tapes and CDs from our CME Resource Library. The library now has over 480 titles to choose from. For those CME hours needed for live presentation, you may listen to the sessions with another person and discuss it as if you were at a seminar.
The procedures for borrowing are as follows:
- Send your requests in writing to: library@tfapm.org
- Please include your mailing address, phone number, email address and when your certification is up for renewal.
- Identify which title(s) with its corresponding number that you would like to borrow, and if you have any alternate selections. You may borrow up to four tapes per month. (The most recent and up to date library list may be sent to you via email or regular mail).
- For CDs, send a copy of your e-mailed request along with a refundable security deposit of $15 per title (or no more than $60) and $4 for postage (in one check) payable to:

Arrangements may be made for submission of deposit and costs via PayPal.
CDs and tapes may be borrowed for one month at a time. If you wish to borrow more titles, your deposit will be held until all titles are returned. A late fee of $1 per day will be deducted from your deposit if the CDs/tapes become overdue. Fees for lost titles will be assessed at $15 per title.
Video tapes are also available. These will also be loaned out for one month at a time (one video per month) and require a security deposit of $50 per tape and $6 for postage.
