The Community Involvement Committee (CIC) was created by the Academy’s Board of Directors in 2004 during the administration of former President Charles Castagna. The Board of Directors recognized that the organization could use its size and prestige to positively impact the communities in which we live and practice. Through the CIC, the Academy strives to support both humanitarian causes as well as statewide programs which promote mediation, conflict resolution and Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR).
