Mary Ellen Borja

Mary Ellen Borja has been licensed to practice law in Florida since 1985 and in the State of New York since 1967. She is also admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court, and is one of a small number of Florida attorneys who are Board Certified by the Florida Bar as a specialist in Marital and Family Law. She is \'AV Preeminent\' rated by Martindale Hubbell, and has received the highest rating of \'10\' from AVVO. She has been a Florida Supreme Court Certified Family Mediator since 1996. Florida laws relating to matters such as divorce, parental responsibility, parenting plans, child support, alimony and paternity are frequently updated and changed by both the legislative and judicial branches of government. Information obtained on the internet, while helpful, may not be applicable to a particular individual\'s circumstances. Therefore, legal advice can be a very wise investment. Often it is more practical, and a better use of your time, energy and finances, to negotiate a peaceful settlement through mediation. Mary Ellen Borja is a Supreme Court Certified Family Mediator, and encourages negotiated settlement as an alternative to litigation whenever an agreement, fair to both parties, can be reached. Our office is located at the southeast corner of North McMullen Booth Road and Enterprise Road in Clearwater, in the Northwood Commons office complex.
