R. Scott Callen

As a certified mediator, Mr. Callen is frequently selected and retained by plaintiff and defense attorneys to resolve employment law litigation matters pending in courts or arbitration. A high percentage of cases resolve with Mr. Callen as the mediator, as his mediation approaches are innovative and specifically tailored to the specific dynamics, issues, laws, and situations that surface in employment disputes. Moreover, Mr. Callen’s twenty plus years of employment litigation experience is frequently utilized by the parties during employment law mediations.

Mr. Callen has more than 20 years of national, regional and local legal representation experience with employment laws and employment disputes, including representation matters for single plaintiff, multi-plaintiff and multi-defendant cases, and FLSA class and collective actions. His experiences include federal and state discrimination, harassment, retaliation claims, wage & hour and Fair Labor Standards Act claims, worker’s compensation disputes, non-competition disputes, independent contractor misclassification, and numerous other employment law disputes arising under labor and employment laws.

Mr. Callen has received an AV Rating, the highest rating from Martindale-Hubbell, and he has been selected to Florida Legal Elite. He was awarded equity partner status in numerous firms, including the international law firm of Foley & Lardner, a small litigation boutique firm, and an employment law boutique firm.
