Mark Walker

Mark Walker is certified by the Florida Supreme Court and the United States Federal District Court for the Middle District of Florida as a civil court mediator. He practiced as a trial lawyer in Central Florida for fifteen years before becoming a full-time mediator. For nine years, Mr. Walker practiced primarily defense. For six years thereafter, he represented plaintiffs exclusively. He has tried cases in both State and Federal Court. Prior to attending Stetson University College of Law, Mr. Walker worked in the Labor/Employee Relations field with a major central Florida company, where his duties included employee dispute resolution. He has taught in the paralegal program at Florida Metropolitan University and has been a frequent seminar participant throughout the state.

Mr. Walker has been a longstanding member of the Florida Bar, the American Bar Association, and the Orange County Bar Association. He is also a member of the Florida Association of Professional Mediators and has been admitted to practice before the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals, and the United States District Courts for the Middle and Southern Districts of Florida.
