Thomas A. “Tad” David is the Chief of Alternative Dispute Resolution for the Florida Dispute Resolution Center (DRC), Office of the State Courts Administrator. Mr. David received his B.B.A. from the University of Georgia, and his J.D. from Florida State University. Tad will be bringing us up to date on the new mediator and mediation rules adopted by the Florida Supreme Court earlier this year, as well as proposed rules that are currently being considered by the Supreme Court regarding mediators and mediation.”
Gary Rosner has over 25 years of experience in handling all areas of civil litigation including but not limited to complex, commercial, real estate, probate, business and title claims. Mr. Rosner is a sought-after mediator, arbitrator and special magistrate. He is a Florida Supreme Court Certified Circuit Civil and County Court Mediator, Florida Supreme Court Qualified Arbitrator and Florida Department of Financial Services Mediator. In addition to his practice, Mr. Rosner serves as Adjunct Professor of Law at Nova Southeastern University. As a recognized leader in his field, he is a frequent speaker and moderator on various legal and alternative dispute resolution related matters. He is a member of MEAC , Co-Chair of the Broward County Bar Association and Co-Chair of the Miami-Dade Bar Association ADR/Arbitration Committee. He is the newly minted Vice President of the FAPM.
Dwayne E. Clark, Sr. aka “Cowboy,” holds a Master’s Degree in Executive Management and a BS in Business Administration. Dwayne has over forty five years of HR experience (both unionized and non-union environments) including with the US Government, Fortune 150 Manufacturing Corporation, VP Level, hotel, general manager, and health industry. He is certified in County, Circuit, Family and Appellate Mediation. He is a member of the Board of Directors of FAPM and former Vice President.
Ana Cristina Maldonado has practiced as a full time neutral for 13 years, concentrating her practice in family, dependency, real estate, insurance and commercial cases. She has mediated over 2,500 mediations and trained over 400 mediators. Cristina is Chair of The Florida Bar’s ADR Section (2024-2025), where she champions the diversification of the field of dispute resolution. Ms. Maldonado has a B.A. from Amherst College, a M.Sc. in Conflict Resolution from George Mason University, and her J.D. from St. Thomas University. She is fluent in Spanish and Portuguese, and grew up throughout Latin America before returning to the continental U.S. for college. Deborah Beylus has mediated thousands of divorces and family conflicts. Deborah focuses exclusively on divorce mediation and financial support to couples with and without attorneys. Deborah specializes in financial and relationship matters that are unique to divorce.
Deborah is a frequent lecturer and author in the areas of Florida Family Law Mediation and Family Economics. Deborah is certified by the Florida Supreme Court as a Mediator in Family, Circuit, County and Dependency mediation, Primary Mediation Trainer in Family, Circuit and County mediation, and Certification as a Divorce Financial Analyst. She is an appointed Member of the Supreme Court’s Mediation Qualifications Discipline and Review Board (MQDRB) and served on the Qualification Inquiry Committee (QIC).
Born and raised in NY, Deborah lives in Florida since 1994, working within the legal and financial communities. With financial industry experience, Deborah is committed to sharing information that helps couples avoid long-term regret with financial decisions made during the divorce process.
Deborah Beylus served as President of the Florida Academy of Professional Mediators from 2019 through 2024 and continues to serve on the Board of Directors.
