Leslie W. Langbein, Esq. is Board Certified by the Fla. Bar in the area of Employment law but also practices in the areas of Fair Housing Law, Title III of the ADA, and Commercial Law. She litigates in federal and state courts. Mrs. Langbein has been a Florida Circuit/ Civil Mediator since 1996 and has mediated well over a 1000 cases. She is an approved mediator on the panels of the United States District Court for the Southern and Middle Districts of Florida and the Florida Department of Financial Services. She is a Florida Qualified Arbitrator and a member of the arbitration and mediation panels of the American Arbitration Association and the American Health Law Association. Mrs. Langbein is a member of the Special Magistrate's Roster maintained by the Florida Public Employee Commission to resolve labor disputes and of the Federal Mediation and Conciliation Service's panel of labor arbitrators. She is a hearing officer for Miami-Dade County's personnel appeals and has experience conducting employment investigations. Ms. Langbein's background includes five years' as an assistant city and deputy city attorney and nearly ten years' experience serving in the capacity of general counsel to one of Florida's public universities. She has conducted numerous mediation and arbitration hearings by Zoom.
