Designed for mediators of all levels of technological proficiency, this course will teach attendees the frequently-used terms and acronyms of electronically stored information (ESI), e-discovery, social media discovery, and cyber security which arise in mediation and arbitration so that they may better mediate disputes. Nearly every major civil circuit and divorce matter likely touches upon some aspect of consumer/enterprise technology. Attendees will learn more than two dozen tech terms, have an opportunity for questions, and receive a “cheat sheet” for later use at their offices.
